01  What we make

Everything under one roof, in-house.

Pattern making, sampling, sewing, embroidery and printing all happen in the same building, so a change to a sleeve does not cost you three weeks of couriering samples between vendors. We work in wovens and knits — dresses, shirting, co-ords, loungewear and kidswear.

01

Pattern making & sampling

Send a sketch, a tech pack, or a garment you already love. We draft the pattern, cut the first sample and send photographs at every stage.

02

Cut and sew production

Wovens and knits — dresses, shirting, co-ords, loungewear and kidswear. Graded across sizes, sewn and finished in-house.

03

Hand embroidery

Zardozi, aari, beadwork and sequin work done by hand at the frame, sampled on your own fabric before we commit to a run.

04

Machine embroidery

Multi-head machine embroidery, and trims sourced to match the palette you give us.

05

Screen, block & digital printing

Screen printing for flat colour, hand block printing for traditional repeats, and digital printing for photographic or many-coloured artwork. Strike-offs on your own fabric before the run.

06

Worldwide shipping

Accounts with all the leading carriers for air and sea freight, so goods leave quickly and land where you are — Europe, the UK, North America, South America, Japan, the Gulf and Australia.

02  Credentials

Audited, registered, and cleared to export.

A first order with a new supplier is a risk. These are the papers that reduce it — a government export recognition, an independently audited social compliance standard, and a certified quality system. Copies go out with every quotation.

03  Minimums & lead times

We would rather make fifty good pieces than five thousand rushed ones.

These are the minimums we work to. Tell us what you need and we will be honest about whether it fits — if it does not, we will usually know someone it does.

StageMinimum per styleTypical lead time
First sample1 piece7 – 10 days
Fit or repeat sample1 piece4 – 6 days
Production, plain50 pieces3 – 4 weeks
Production, embroidered30 pieces4 – 6 weeks
Hand embroidery only20 pieces4 – 5 weeks
Digital printingNo minimum1 – 2 weeks
Screen or block printingNo minimum, once screens or blocks are paid for2 – 3 weeks

Minimums are counted per style, not per order — a fifty-piece run can be split across sizes and colourways. Lead times start from approved sample and confirmed fabric. Digital printing carries no minimum at all; screen and block printing carry none either, once the screens or blocks are paid for, and they stay yours for repeat orders.

04  How it works

From a sketch on your phone to boxes at your door.

01

Tell us what you are making

A sketch, a reference image, a spec sheet or a sample garment — anything we can measure. We come back with questions, not a form to fill in.

02

Sample and cost

We quote per style, make the first sample, and revise it until the fit and the finish are right. Sampling is charged separately and credited against production.

03

Production

Fabric in, cut, sewn, embroidered, checked. You get progress photographs each week, so nothing is a surprise at the end.

04

Ship, anywhere

Packed with your own labels, tags and polybags, then shipped door to door with tracking. We hold accounts with all the leading carriers for both air and sea, so a small air parcel moves fast and a full container books without a freight broker in the middle.

05  Request a quote

Tell us about your styles.

The more you send, the faster we can quote. Sketches, tech packs, fabric references, a photo of a garment that fits the way you want — all of it helps.

06  How it started

Two decades in fashion, before a single Braaf garment was cut

I started in this industry in 1999, as an assistant designer under Rajesh Pratap Singh — one of India's most respected names in design. Those early years took me through India Fashion Week, the Dubai Fashion Festival, Miss India, and Kingfisher's Men's Fashion Week, working alongside houses that treated construction and finish as seriously as the sketch.

From there I moved to the production side — leading menswear product development at Blackberrys, then founding my own sourcing venture — because I wanted to understand not just how a garment should look, but how it actually gets made, at scale, without losing what made the design worth making in the first place.

Satyendra Singh Rawat
Founder & Director

Braaf Lifestyle, founded in 2021, is where those two decades come together. We're a 100% export-oriented unit, ISO 9001 and SA 8000 certified, already manufacturing and shipping — high fashion dresses, capes, jackets, skirts, tops, structured pieces, kaftans, resortwear, gothic fashion — to renowned labels and designers across the US, Europe, and Australia. This isn't a concept still finding its first client; it's a running production line with a track record. Orders start at just 50 pieces, because the designers who most need a manufacturing partner who understands fashion are usually the ones bulk factories turn away.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Braaf Lifestyle's minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ starts at 30 pieces per style for embroidered garments and 50 pieces per style for plain garments — low enough for boutiques, independent designers, and emerging brands to sample and order without committing to bulk-factory minimums.

Does Braaf Lifestyle manufacture private label / white label garments?

Yes. We work from a client's sketch, reference image, or existing sample through pattern making, sampling, and bulk production, delivered under the client's own label — no branding of ours appears on finished goods.

What product categories do you manufacture?

Resortwear, kaftans, abayas, dresses, skirts, tops, capes, and gothic fashion, in a range of fabrics including crepe, satin, cotton, and silk, with hand embroidery, machine embroidery, and digital/screen/block printing available in-house.

What certifications does Braaf Lifestyle hold?

Braaf Lifestyle is ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management, and SA 8000:2014 certified for social accountability and ethical labor practices, and operates as a Government Recognised Export House with Udyam registration.

What does SA 8000 certification mean?

SA 8000 is an international social accountability standard that certifies a factory's labor practices — covering fair wages, safe working conditions, reasonable working hours, freedom of association, and the prohibition of child labor and forced labor. It's independently audited (assessed by RQC for Braaf Lifestyle), similar in purpose to certifications like WRAP or BSCI. For buyers, an SA 8000-certified supplier means the garments are produced in a factory that has been externally verified as an ethical, safe workplace — not just self-declared.

Where is Braaf Lifestyle based, and which markets do you export to?

We are based in Kapashera, New Delhi, India, and ship worldwide via air courier for samples and smaller orders, and by sea freight for bulk production orders, with existing export experience across Europe, the UK, North America, South America, Japan, the Gulf, and Australia.

What is your typical sampling and production lead time?

First samples are typically ready in 7-10 days, with bulk production following in 3-6 weeks depending on order size and embellishment complexity.

Who founded Braaf Lifestyle?

Braaf Lifestyle was founded in 2021 by Satyendra Singh Rawat, who has worked in fashion design and garment production since 1999 — including as an assistant designer under Rajesh Pratap Singh, and contributing to India Fashion Week, the Dubai Fashion Festival, Miss India, and Kingfisher's Men's Fashion Week — before leading menswear product development at Blackberrys and founding Braaf Lifestyle.
